The girls are gearing up for a busy summer, performing at the iconic Brighton On The Beach Festival alongside Eric Prydz and Adam Bayer, and on a string of Anjunadeep shows including the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Fun Facts About Music
From the first known audio recording in 1860, music has come a long way. This week we’re delving into production and learning about the different elements of music – timbre, rhythm, melody, harmony, and structure.
A musical idea can be anything from a drum and bass pattern to a full song with lyrics and chords. The key to a good mix is making sure that all the elements of the track work well together. That means checking that there’s enough variation between instruments to keep the listener interested, and that the transitions are smooth. It’s also important to make sure that there are no gaps or silence in the tracks, and that all the sounds have a clear definition (for example, making sure there isn’t too much reverb).
One of the most interesting facts about Music is that it has been proven to have positive effects on plants! Researchers have found that plants grown in a room with music grow faster and healthier than those who don’t. It’s thought that this is because the sound waves help them produce hormones that promote growth.
For many people, listening to their favourite artists and songs is like an escape from the everyday world. It gives them a chance to unwind and relax, or let out some aggression and frustration. It can make us feel like we’re part of a community, or that we have something in common with the artist. Whether you’re a fan of the Beatles or Metallica, they both have that power to connect with their audience.
