Types of Music
Music has long been credited with the power to affect human emotions. It has been used as an adjunct to ritual, in dance and in other performance art. It is often used in advertising and as a way to express an emotion or mood, and its popularity has led to an array of musical genres, many of which rely on a fusion of traditional and modern influences.
Production
Producers are a crucial element in the creation of songs, helping to bring out the full potential of an artist’s sound. A producer may be involved in a broad conceptual way, or work on specific parts of a song to help with arrangements and fine-tuning. Some producers are also songwriters, and may be responsible for the overall artistic vision of a song or album.
