Stockholm-based DJ and producer MOLØ returns to Anjunadeep with her four-track EP ‘Hymn’. Following her label debut in 2018, MOLØ has been releasing on Jeremy Olander’s label Vivrant and recently delivered a serene remix of Eli & Fur’s ‘Wild Skies’, as well as recently opening shows for Amê & Dixon.

Opening the EP is ‘Ales’, a downtempo electronic track that incorporates intricate rhythms with ambient textures. ‘Alden’ features swelling strings and breakbeat drums whilst title-track ‘Hymn’ leads with echoing synths. Blending cinematic pads and percussive laden grooves, MOLØ rounds off the EP with ‘Uman’.

Five Reasons Why Music Is Important to Human Beings

As the world’s most influential culture, music has been a constant force in human history. It has inspired fans to become rock stars, provided the soundtrack for movies, and fueled cultural revolutions. It has inspired people to sing, dance, and contemplate. It has also triggered congressional investigations, and has changed the way people live, learn, and work. But what is it exactly that makes music so powerful? Listed below are five reasons why music is important to human beings.

Amateur music competitions have been around for centuries. In the 18th century, local singing competitions were held in taverns. Later, amateur music competitions became popular, and prominent figures would adjudicate. For example, in 1790, singers from Stoughton, Mass., competed in a singing contest in Dorchester, Mass. In the 20th century, amateur competitions took on a larger scale.

A digital audio format called MP3 was created in the late 1980s. In 1999, Sub Pop began distributing music in MP3 format. MP3 was an evolution of MPEG formats, allowing people to listen to music without owning a physical object. With the help of the internet, MP3 files have spread across the world. With the help of these devices, more people are enjoying music more than ever. If you’re looking for an innovative way to listen to music, these three technologies can make your life easier.

A broader movement emerged after the rise of punk rock in the 1980s. Punk rock is a popular genre, with songs expressing an angry rebellion. Punk rock is a style that originated in New York and influenced the underground scene in Great Britain. Its founder, Jerry Garcia, was killed in 1995, but the band still tours today under various names. These bands were instrumental in creating the genre known as punk rock. It has since become one of the most influential forms of music in history.
